How do I connect to the College Wi-Fi on an Android/Chromebook?

Open the 'Settings' app on your Android phone, then select the 'Connections' tab, and click the 'Wi-Fi' option.

Ensuring the Wi-Fi is turned on, select the network labelled 'Lincoln College Wireless'. This is the network you should connect to while on campus.

Ensure the 'EAP Method' field is set to PEAP, and the 'Phase 2 authentication' field is set to MSCHAPV2. For the 'CA certificate' field, select 'Use system certificates'.

If you are asked to enter an 'Online Certificate Status', choose 'Do not validate'

You will be asked to enter a domain and an 'Identity' and password. The domain is 'lincolncollege.ac.uk'.

Your Identity is your student ID number, and the password will be your usual student account password. Enter this information, then click 'Connect'.

You should now be connected to the College Wi-Fi!

When you reset your password, it is important to remember to log out of the Wi-Fi first. To do this, open the Wi-Fi settings, then click the 'Lincoln College Wireless' network. Then select 'Forget'.

After you have reset your password, log back on with your new information.
